Mathematics Classes for Homeschoolers

Math classes at Excellence in Education cover the entire mathematics curricula from elementary basic mathematics through Advanced Placement Calculus and include also practical math skills, Consumer math, for example, which covers everyday arithmetic.

Advanced Basic Math
Multiplication and division skills, fractions, percents and decimals. Equivalent to 5th and 6th grade math.
Consumer math
Hands on activities to let students practice and strengthen their basic math skills in concrete real world situations. Along with money skills such as balancing a checkbook, calculating tips and taxes, the class will be working with symmetry, time, charts, graphs and scale drawings. There will be a strong emphasis on problem solving, logical reasoning and estimation.
